Team will practice  at NWRAA and play some home games at our complex. However, due to low turnout for this age across the county, 14U will represent NWRAA in the Brandon league and play their schedule with neighboring teams / travel required.

LEAGUE OVERVIEW
Approximately 12-14 regular season games, playing twice a week, excluding Wednesdays. Rain outs will be made up during weekend practice slots.

Practices: 90 minute practice slots, one week night (chosen at draft) and  one weekend (chosen at draft). Once games begin, ALL teams drop the week night practice and only practice one 90 minute slot on the weekend.

DRAFTS
All girls are evaluated prior to draft. Teams are chosen based primarily on the evaluations, conducted by volunteer coaches for that age division.  We give our best effort to make each team as balanced as possible. Teams 10U and above will draft a pitcher first so all teams will have at least one.  Coaches will then select their team in order of their draft #.

SPONSORS
Each team is required to secure a team sponsor. If you or someone you know is interested in becoming a team or league sponsor for your child’s team, please email Craig Miller for more information.

PARKING

471 Parking:

Parking at NWRAA 471 complex is tough to say the least.  In the past we've had many close accidents due to people trying to enter the complex from the exit drive.  Please remember, you must enter only from the South Entrance (closest to Spillway road) and must only exit from the North Entrance (Across from Bay Store).  The traffic flow is one-way between the entrance and exit driveway, moving from the entrance towards the exit.

This year we have added more parking on the old football field.  The new parking area has created a lot of new parking for the facility. The parking area is located on the south side of the property.   When entering the parking lot turn right and follow the signs.  Please do not block the entrance when parking.  The driveway is mark with painted lines.   Be careful not to park where you would be blocking the normal flow of traffic or other vehicles.

In addition, please do not park on 471; there is now ample parking in the complex.  There are people parking on the road on a routine basis when there are numerous open spots in the designated parking lots.  If you choose to park on 471, be sure your car and car door when opened do not protrude into the bike path.  You will be ticketed.  Cones are set up near the exit from the parking lot to mark a no parking zone.  Do not park between the bridges and the entrance and exits.   It is very important when parking not to block the view from on-coming traffic on 471 from cars exiting the parking lot.

Things to remember:

1.      Please be considerate when parking.  Do not block anyone in.

2.      Be careful not to park where you would be blocking the normal flow of traffic or other vehicles.

3.      Do not park on the entrance or exit driveway.

4.      Do not park and block the entrance in to the new parking area (football field)
